The training “Standards and Guides in Work with Youth at Risk of Social Exclusion” focuses on the protection of rights, basic principles of work and standards for providing social and health care for children and youth who use psychoactive substances, children and youth who are in conflict with law, children and youth coming from families using psychoactive substances or in conflict with law, street children and youth, children and youth without parental care, as well as children and young Roma. It gathers 30 participants from Western Balkans` countries: NGO activists and experts, consultants and representatives of institutions in charge for delivering series for most at risk children and youth.
The training is a part of the project “At-risk Youth Social Empowerment”, supported by the European Union, which is being implemented in the Western Balkans for 45 months from January 2016 to October 2019. The project is coordinated by NGO Juventas, and project partners are ARSIS from Albania, Margin Association from Bosnia and Herzegovina, HOPS from Macedonia, NGO Labyrinth from Kosovo, Prevent from Serbia and SHL Foundation from Germany. The network of these organizations will carry out activities aimed at contributing to the active participation in the social processes of young people from the Western Balkans who are at the highest risk of social exclusion.
The training is held from October 15th to 18th, 2017 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
