“The meetings with the project partners were held in Podgorica, Montenegro from the 26th-28-th of April 2018. Among the main topics that were discussed in this meeting were:

  • An overview of Year two (2017) and its activities;
  • The results and challenges in this year for all organizations;
  • Discussing about the guideline, new ideas and comments;
  • Discussing about the Year three (2018) activity plan, etc.

The meeting was organized by NGO Juventas in the premises of PR CENTAR for three days. One of the main aims of the meeting were to improve the policies and practices of governmental and non-governmental organizations, in relation to young people at risk of social exclusion. This group includes all the youth and children at risk that are in conflict with the law, youth and children who use drugs, young people living in families with a history of conflict with the law and/or drug abuse, street youth and children, young Roma and young people who were children without parental care.

On the first day, after presenting the agenda and expectations from the meeting, the participants have prepared presentation of project results and challenges during implementation of activities in Year two (2017).

The partners were presented with:

  • Common general work principles for CSOs from all these guidelines which are created in 2017;
  • Comments on guidelines which are created in 2017.

On the second day, we created a detailed plan of actions for Year three (2018). After discussion and group work we have created common agreements for most of the activity edits.

 As far as meeting with key stakeholders, Labyrinth has achieved to set up meetings with the National Coordinator from the Secretariat for Strategies from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ministry of Internal Affairs premises, and a meeting with the Ombudsperson in the premises of his office.

The topics discussed in the meeting with the National Coordinator from the Secretariat for Strategies from the Ministry of Internal Affairs were targeting the Youth at risk, specifically children and young people living in families with a history of conflict with the law and/or drug abuse, Info on new drugs, Action Plan etc. It was held in Ministry of Internal Affairs premises on the 22nd of May

As for the meeting with the Ombudsperson, similar topics were discussed and trying to make the situation better in Kosovo for children and young people living in families with a history of conflict with the law and/or drug abuse. It was held on the 9th of March in the premises of the Ombudsperson’s office.
